Hello, everyone! I’m Avery, and I’m here to edit or proofread your project. That’s the short pitch, but here’s a little more about me:

After leaving the United States and bouncing back and forth between Korea and Japan for over a decade, I’ve finally settled in the not-so-sunny Netherlands. This has allowed me to leave office life behind and work for myself. I’m excited to make new connections and take on new projects across a broad spectrum of topics.

When I’m not fixing comma splices or wrangling em dashes, I enjoy indulging in slow travel, playing Scrabble with my dad back in the States, trying unfamiliar foods, streaming on Twitch, and watching my favorite comedy programs from New Zealand. It’s also a joy to birdwatch and spot other critters in my garden!
